A total of 38 undergraduate/graduate students from Korea, China (Hong Kong) and Japan participated in this event representing assigned countries and government delegations and discussed the human rights issues for four states under review including Republic of Korea, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, China and Japan respectively. All participants did an excellent job staying true to the actual position of the country that they represented. Participants not only learned the process of the UPR but were provided with opportunities to think of the current issues of human rights in Northeast Asia. Human Asia wishes everyone will become great leaders in the field of human rights in the future!
