On March 10th, 12th Human Rights School for Teenagers was held under the topic of “Human rights, over the hatred and toward the dignity!” with 19 students of middle school and high school attended. They learned the diversity of the standards and perspectives of what they have taken for granted through the discussion of the stereotype of ‘teenagers’ termed as ‘immature, imprudent, and lacking of judgment’ and the rights of teenagers. In addition, they were also provided an opportunity to write short passages to contemplate about the hate expressions. Participants learned the consequence of hate expression that will exclude minorities, and demonstrated understanding and knowledge about hate expressions through the presentation of pre-assignment, drawing a poster of hate expressions. Throughout the course, participants could develop the ability look at phenomenon though human rights perspective.
